Census Bureau: 73.6% of people in Moody County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 6,335 citizens living in Moody County in 2021, 73.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 4,661 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 2,359 were male, constituting 50.6%, and 2,302 were female, making up 49.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Moody County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 75.2%.
